Welcome to Maranatha.

Sitting in the heart of Virginia, we are a new farm but an old property. The land, with a historic house and a history of cattle, is easy to fall in love with. The Appalachian mountains sit as the backdrop to our expanding farm and we are busy welcoming new animals to our space. We recently added a herd of Charolais cows, Mangalista pigs, Wagyu cows, Berkshire pigs, Dorper Katahdan cross sheep, and a flock of chickens. As you can imagine, we have had a lot to do!

The 400 -acre property is currently being built up to include an aquaponic greenhouse and a space for the public to come and learn about the animals that we are raising. As our infrastructure grows, so does our team. We currently have 5 incredible team members, along with the Gobezie family, that maintain and run the whole operation.

Our mission is to be a collection of people dedicated to three principles: Integrity, Innovation, and Inspiration. Maranatha Farms will work with reliability and diligence - offering a product that you can feel good bringing into your home. We also seek to explore new and improving methods in every avenue of our day to create positive change in our environment and community. Finally, Maranatha Farms will share our practices with students and neighbors who show interest in what we do to train and inspire those seeking to get involved.

As we chase chickens, herd cattle, and plant seeds, we want to include you on the journey. We like to consider ourselves pretty good farmers, but we know that there is always something new to learn, and problems that pop up, that we want to share.

You can support us by following us on our social medias, checking out our growing merchandise, and asking us questions!
