Our goal is simple - to produce food that is good for the land and the people eating it.
Located in Forest, Virginia, Maranatha Farms focuses on regenerative agriculture to raise cows, sheep, pigs, and chickens. We have both pick up and delivery services available. You are able to select a day and time most suitable for you and have our products delivered straight to your home or business.
We are a family farm focused on making high quality food available to the greater Lynchburg area.

What is Regenerative Agriculture?
Regenerative agriculture is a way of growing food that restores ecosystems, conserves water, restores organic matter to the soil, decreases more carbon from the atmosphere and increases biodiversity. It is a form of farming that not only focuses on the health of the animals, but also the health of the land. We promote biodiversity by avoiding pesticides and herbicides, use manage grazing, and add compost to our fields. Our grazing methods, feed selection, and growing methods add organic matter to our soil and do not degrade our land.
Our animals are pasture raised and grass finished eating diets they are biologically engineered to eat. We are on a mission to raise and care for our animals in a way that aligns with our moral values and the way God intended. We feel it is our responsibility to let animals be animals.
